It is what makes a product recognizable, desirable, and user-friendly
An industrial design refers to the appearance of a product:

We prepare the description, graphic materials, and submit the application to Rospatent, taking into account the results of the preliminary analysis.
Before filing an application, it is important to ensure that your product meets the criteria of novelty and originality. The results of the search allow you to make an informed decision about filing.

What is an industrial design?
The term may sound a bit down-to-earth, but let’s get better acquainted…
According to Article 1352 of the Civil Code, “an industrial design is the solution for the appearance of an industrial or handicraft product.” In other words, an industrial design represents the decorative or aesthetic aspect of a product. In some countries, the term “design” is used instead. It could be an attractive label, original packaging, or an unusual — or simply appealing — shape of almost any product.
